
Yaqi Li

Bio
Yaqi Li is an undergraduate student majoring in Computation and Cognition with a minor in Design. Her work explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, design, and human-robot interaction, with a focus on creating intelligent systems that integrate with human environments. She has conducted research with the MIT Media Lab’s Critical Matter Group on 3D-printed textiles and human-AI interaction, and currently works with the Multisensory Intelligence Group, where she focuses on multimodal machine learning, tactile sensing, and sim-to-real learning for soft robotics.
Yaqi is also an associate advisor for DesignPlus, plays piano with MIT’s Chamber Music Society, and is an active member of the Golf Club.
