Designers at MIT are polymaths, working across disciplines to craft vital, elegant solutions to the world’s toughest problems. Polymaths — the Morningside Academy for Design (MAD)’s contribution to the Occupancy exhibition — features original pieces from MAD-connected faculty and students across the Institute, with work ranging from inflatable metal to 3D-printed furniture.
