About
This October, MITdesignX is hosting a 24-hour impact hackathon in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano—one of the world’s top design schools.
Participants will have 24 hours to ideate and co-create possible innovation opportunities to address the climate crisis and other urgent societal conditions with the help of MITdesignX mentors.

PARICIPATION
This event is open to undergraduate and graduate students from ALL MIT departments. You will be joined by peer designers from Politecnico di Milano to solve critical societal and climate challenges.
Each team will have students from both institutions and will collaborate virtually to ideate and co-create innovative solutions to societal and climate issues impacting our cities.
You will spend 24 hours in MIT building N52 with your team, ending with a pitch of your prototype to a panel of judges.
All meals and snacks will be provided.
$1,000 Grand Prize.
No preparation required.
20 participants will be selected by Monday, October 14.
