In 2021, Lydia Huth (she/her) started her MIT career in a split communications role for the Office of Graduate Education and Career Advising and Professional Development (CAPD), before shifting to oversee CAPD’s communications, operations, and HR functions as the office’s Communication & Program Manager.

Before coming on staff at MIT, Lydia worked four years in nonprofit and independent entertainment marketing and seven years teaching English studies, with a focus on British literature and creative writing. That background is still near and dear to her, so she is always ready to debrief the latest Oscars contender or explore the nearest indie bookstore.
