Jenny Cang
Human-Centered Designer
Jenny Cang completed her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) candidate at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2024. She walked into the classroom of human-centered design during her senior year of college, and her life hasn’t been the same since.
Her past work has ranged from helping local communities consider organ donation to designing for employee belonging with Fortune 500 companies during large-scale mergers and acquisitions. Jenny thrives at the intersection of business and human-centered design, and loves designing experiences that are centered around people. She looks forward to continuing to combine her business background with a designer’s toolkit and bringing focus to last-mile transportation in emerging markets during her MAD fellowship.
At MIT, Jenny was Co-President of the MIT Sloan Design Club, Vice President of the Entrepreneurship Club, and member of the MIT Climbing Team. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College. In her free time, Jenny enjoys rock-climbing, being outdoors, trying new recipes, and collecting good stories.
Jenny is part of the MITdesignX venture Cortado which aims to “give a second life to coffee grounds” and won the Innovation Award ($5,000) on MITdesignX’s Pitch Day.
